Approve Renewal of Maneuver In-License Agreement for the Bisbee-Douglas International Airport, between Cochise County and the United States of America, for non-exclusive use of BDI airspace and associated lands for the purpose of conducting military training and operations by the 563 RQG, Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona.
Background:
The agreement has been continual and renewable in five (5) year increments. The existing agreement expires on/or about 24 March 2013.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Continue to facilitate access by the 563rd RQG to BDI airspace and associated lands through issuance of NOTAM to the FAA for all military training and operations.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
563rd RQG will not have access to BDI airspace and associated lands to conduct military training and operations.
