Present information and hold the second Public Hearing for Fiscal Year 2011 Community Development Block Grant Application Process for Cochise County to receive public input and to identify community needs in Cochise County.
Background:
This is the second public hearing of Fiscal Year 2011 Community Development Block Grant funding cycle to receive public input and to identify community needs within Cochise County. Two public hearings are required for the CDBG application process.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Schedule a work session with the Board to discuss proposed projects and receive direction on which activities to pursue with FY11 CDBG funding.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The County will not be compliant with public participation requirements for both the CDBG application and the actual award of CDBG funding from the AZ Department of Housing.
To BOS Staff: Document Disposition/Follow-Up:
A work session with the Board will need to be scheduled in the last week of March 2011 for discussion of possible projects to pursue with FY11 CDBG funding.
