Ratify Contract Amendment #12 to Contract # YH07-0001-02 between Arizona Healthcare Cost Containment System Administration (AHCCCSA) and Cochise Health Systems (CHS) to establish the new capitation rates effective 4/1/11 through 9/30/11.
Background:
This is a contract amendment between Arizona Healthcare Cost Containment System Administration (AHCCCSA) and Cochise Health Systems (CHS). The amendment sets forth the new capitation rates effective 4/1/11 through 9/30/11. Due to rapid turnaround time for signatures on this document, Jim Vlahovich, DCA, signed the amendment attached in anticipation of approval by the full BOS.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Signed amendment will be sent to AHCCCSA for final implementation effective 4/1/11.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
All revenues generated as a result of this contract are Special Revenue and any excess revenue from the management of this contract at the end of the year will be used to offset the County's required contribution to the State for indigent care. If amendment not approved, County will lose ability to potentially offset requisite contribution to State for indigent care.
