Information
Agenda Item Text:
Approve the Master Services Agreement establishing a partnership between the Housing Authority of Cochise County (HACC) and Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SSVEC) in which HACC will administer the Energy Efficiency Improvement Grant Program.
Background:
HACC will administer the SSVEC Energy Efficiency Improvement Grant to low income, owner-occupied homes in the SSVEC service area as proposed in attachments 1 - 5. This will be the first proposed partnership between HACC and SSVEC.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, HACC will begin administering the program from March 2011 through March 2012. If the partnership is successful during the first year, SSVEC will continue to partner with HACC on a broader scale.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If the partnership is not approved, this could result in a loss of special revenue.
