Approve the Proclamation to declare the week of March 20th through March 26th, 2011 as the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Cochise County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team.
Background:
Cochise County Sheriff Larry A. Dever established the first volunteer Search and Rescue Team, March 26, 1981 in Cochise County , in accordance with Arizona Revised Statue mandates. By virtue of the authority vested in the Constitution and the laws of the State of Arizona, we request the Board of Supervisors approve the request to Proclaim the week of March 20th through March 26th as the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Cochise County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team in Cochise County Arizona.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team will hold a private pot luck dinner for their members on March 26th, in celebration.
