Accept an adjustment to a sub-grant agreement from the Department of Homeland Security- Stone Garden grant 08-AZDOHS-OPSG-444433-03, effective October 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011, providing an additional amount of $23,689.84 (from $53,543.44 to $77,233.28); this money is in addition to funds awarded with the original grant application which was approved by the Board on October 26, 2010.
Background:
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office receives funding from Department of Homeland Security (Stone Garden) for augment operations with the United States Border Patrol along the US/Mexico border.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Upon approval from the Board please send signed copies to Lt. Floyd Gregory and once completed a final copy will be given to the board for their file
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Basically if not approved will not receive funding for overtime and ERE along with mileage reimbursement to conduct operations along the US/Mexico border.
