Appoint John Ladd to the Public Lands Advisory Committee (PLAC) through June 30, 2011 to fill the vacancy created by Dr. Gary Thrasher's resignation and simultaneously extend Mr. Ladd's appointment from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2013.
Background:
Dr Gary Thrasher resigned from the PLAC as a representative for District 1 and Supervisor Patrick Call selected John Ladd to fill the vacant seat for the duration of Dr. Thrasher's term. Dr. Thrasher's term expires on June 30, 2011 so this action also extends Mr. Ladd's appointment for the full new term from July1, 2011 to June 30, 2013.
