Agenda Item Text:
Approve the Adult Drug Court Grant for the Adult Probation Department for Fiscal Year 2014/2015 in the amount of $14,000 effective July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015.
Background:
In recent years, the Drug Court grant has provided funding for drug testing and treatment services for probationers who are in the Adult Drug Court program.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, funding will be used to provide drug testing, treatment services, and incentives to Drug Court clients.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, we will seek alternative funding sources for Drug Court clients' treatment needs.
