Approve contract extensions with the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) for contract nos. 040193DC and 040194DC for inmate labor from November 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015.
Background:
The Arizona Department of Corrections (DOC) is requesting an extension to the current contracts to ensure that the necessary terms and conditions of the contracts remain intact and that the inmate labor force continues to work for the County.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send extension of contracts back to DOC and continue working with them.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The contracts with DOC will not be extended.
