Approve the sale of one used horse trailer equipment #0731 declared surplus by the Procurement Department Property Manager to Tombstone High School for the amount of $1.00.
Background:
This donation request was received by the County Sheriffs Office from the Tombstone High School, Junior Reserve Officer Training Program, Mounted Color Guard to transport animals for training and events. In accordance with ARS §11-251 a county may with unanimous consent of the Board and without a public auction, sell county property for a specific use to a benevolent nonprofit organization, see attached donation request letter. Trailer #0731 was replaced by trailer #0700 a donated 2015 Delco four horse goose neck trailer which is a new, bigger, safer and more practical trailer for the CCSO Border Ranch Patrol valued at $8,500.

Prepare bill of sale, collect payment and deposit the money into the general fund.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Tombstone High School would have to bid on the trailer at public auction.
