Sitting as the Cochise County Board of Equalization, the Board of Supervisors will uphold or amend the Assessor's decision for the Taxpayer Notice of Claim for parcel number 105-16-316.
Background:
Home Depot filed a Taxpayer Notice of Claim through its agent Ernst & Young LLP. Terry Anderson, Chief Appraiser, disputed the claim of error. Ernst & Young then filed a petition for Review of Taxpayer Notice of Claim with the Board of Equalization within the allotted 90 days. The Board is required by statute to hear the case and render a decision within 30 days.
