Approve the appointment of Mr. Grady Butler to the Board of Adjustment, District 1, for the remainder of a four-year term ending December 31, 2017.
Background:
The Boards of Adjustment consist of three members appointed by the County Supervisor for each District, each residing within the District. Members of the Boards of Adjustment serve staggered four-year terms. There is currently a vacancy on the Board of Adjustments, District 1. Supervisor Call is recommending Mr. Grady Butler to serve the remainder of the term ending December 31, 2017.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send appointment letter and administer the oath of office to Mr. Butler as stated below in BOS Staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
There will continue to be one vacancy on the Board of Adjustment, District 1.
