Approve the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) waiver of four-year Advance Notice of Abandonment and Pavement Quality Report for the recent ADOT construction on Glenn Road and Canyon de Flores and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Background:
ADOT has recently made improvements both on and off Highway 92 south of Sierra Vista. The main changes to Highway 92 were medians to control left turns. To accommodate needs for truck turning, there were also improvements off Highway 92 at Glenn Road and Camino de Flores/Golden Acres. ADOT took temporary rights of way/construction easements to accomplish this work. They have since turned back those rights of way except for a small portion of Golden Acres that was overlooked in the County.
This waiver should have been already sent to and signed by County for the turnback of the right of way. It was left out of the right of way package by ADOT. Therefore we are asking the Board to sign this waiver so the right of way turnback can be finalized.
This is a formality, the Board has already approved the turnbacks except for this one form.

Highway will submit the signed form to ADOT and the turnback can be finalized.

ADOT will need to formally approach the County again for this document.
