Approve the appointment of Ms. Kim DePew to the Planning & Zoning Commission, for a four-year term ending December 31, 2020.
Background:
The Planning & Zoning Commission consists of nine members, three from each District, appointed by the County Supervisor for each District, residing within the District. Members of the Planning & Zoning Commission serve staggered four-year terms. Since January 1, 2017 there has been a vacancy on the Commission from District 1. Supervisor Call is recommending appointing Ms. DePew to serve the term ending December 31, 2020.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send appointment letters and administer the oath of office to Ms. DePew as stated below in BOS Staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
There will continue to be a vacancy on the Planning & Zoning Commission from District 1.
