Approve the award of Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. 18-17-FMD-03 to Courtesy Chevrolet for the purchase of 27 fleet vehicles for the Fleet Services Department in the amount of $671,583.35 plus applicable fees.
Background:
IFB 18-07-FMD-03 was released on August 23, 2017 on the PublicPurchase.com website and was advertised in the San Pedro Valley News-Sun. Three electronic responses were received prior to the bid closing date and time of September 7, 2017 @ 3:010p.m. A bid tabulation is attached which shows Lawley Motors from Sierra Vista, AZ was given a 3% local vendor preference and County tax evaluation method was used to calculate and evaluate their bid. Courtesy Chevrolet from Phoenix, AZ was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Issue purchase order and inspect vehicles upon delivery.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The impact of not approving would result in having to retain current vehicles that have reached their designated replacement mileage resulting in a significant increase in maintenance and repair costs.
