Deny the appeal of the decision to approve docket SU-18-03 (Tim's Electric), a request for a Special Use Authorization to allow Contract Construction Services on a 9.25 acre site zoned RU-4, located at 402 E. Papago Way, Cochise, thereby upholding the February 14, 2018 Planning and Zoning Commission decision.
Background:
Mr. Roy Clayton Markle is appealing the February 14, 2018, unanimous decision by the Planning and Zoning Commission approving docket SU-18-03 (Tim's Electric). The decision authorized a Contract Construction Services business on the property, which was used by a previous owner for a similar but un-permitted business.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If the Appeal is granted, overturning the Planning and Zoning Commission approval of docket SU-18-03, Staff will notify the property owner and appellant of the denial.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If the Appeal is denied, and the Planning and Zoning Commission decision is upheld, docket SU-18-03 will be approved and Staff will notify thew applicant and appellant of the decision.
