Adopt Resolution 18-13 revising the Public Lands Advisory Committee (PLAC) By-Laws to expand the number of members allowing one additional committee member per district and other minor revisions.
Background:
The Public Lands Advisory Committee (PLAC) met in a Work Session on May 30, 2018, to review proposed changes to the PLAC By-Laws. At the PLAC regular meeting on July 23, 2018, the PLAC recommended approval of the proposed changes to the Board of Supervisors.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, the Department will notify the Board of Supervisors that each Supervisor can appoint up to three committee members to the PLAC.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The PLAC By-Laws will remain unchanged and the PLAC will continue to operate under the current By-Laws
