Grant the Cochise County Fair Association permission to apply to host live horse racing in 2019 as required by the Arizona Department of Gaming.
Background:
Ms. Dominique Valenzuela, General Manager of the Cochise County Fair Association, has requested that the Board give them permission, as required by the Arizona Department of Gaming per ARS 5-101(10), to host live horse racing in 2019.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send notice to the Cochise County Fair Assosication.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Fair Association will not be able to host live horse racing.
