Approve Communications Use Lease Agreement Amendment AZA-006237 between the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management and Cochise County, to have a fence installed on the perimeter of the communication site and other security measures detailed in the agreement, effective March 29, 2019 through February 28, 2022.
Background:
Current Tower at Mule Mountain needs to have a fence installed on the perimeter of the communication site for security. The United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management requires a lease amendment when major changes are proposed on their land.
Details to include one 20-foot by 6-foot cement pad with a 500-gallon propane tank; a 30kW Generator; access and parking next to the building; 115-foot tall self-supporting lattice tower, and a 6 ft tall chain-link fence around the perimeter of the site, with 3-strands of barbed wire at the top, and 2-16 ft wide double drive gates for security at the Mule Mountain Tower site.

Provide signed copy to United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management and continue the project to upgrade the security at the Mule Mountain communications site.
