Approve the partial assignment of the old Mule Mountain Communication Site between the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Cochise County, in the amount of $1,000 to process the transfer, effective June 1, 2019.
Background:
The transfer project began 7 years ago and was not completed due to unknown reasons.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
3 original copies have been submitted to the Board to be signed and notarized. Once completed, one copy would be given to Cochise County, DPS, and State Land. Cochise County IT would then pay the $1,000 application fee to Arizona State Land.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, the old Mule Mountain Communication Site lease would not be transferred to Cochise County.
