Approve the award of Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 12-04-HEA-03 for the lease of approximately 3,066 square feet of office space in Building A, Melody Lane, Bisbee, AZ for $1.00 per square foot for a total of $3,066 per month to Centene Corp., DBA Bridgeway Health Solutions of America for a period of five years.
Background:
Bridgeway Health Solutions is the firm that won the State contract for Long Term Care Services that was formerly held by Cochise Aging & Social Services (CASS). Bridgeway has expressed an interest in leasing office space vacated by CASS. In accordance with A.R.S. §11-256, RFP No. 12-04-HEA-03 was released for the lease of a portion of the office space previously occupied by CASS up to 4,925 square feet. The RFP was released on August 23, 2011, advertised in the San Pedro Valley News for four consecutive weeks beginning August 31, 2011, and posted on the County website. An on-site inspection was conducted on September 21, 2011.
One proposal was received by the RFP closing date of October 12, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.. The proposal was from Centene Corp., DBA Bridgeway Health Solutions of America in the amount of $1.00 per square foot for a total of $3,066 per month.
