Adopt Resolution 11-48 authorizing the adoption of Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Guidelines dated October 2011 in relation to State Community Development Block Grant Application for a Housing Rehabilitation Activity.
Background:
On October 13, 2011 the Arizona Department of Housing approved the Community Development Block Grant application the County submitted for the Owner/Occupied Emergency Home Repair Program. Conditional reservation of funding in the amount of $130,000 for the program is contingent upon the County adopting Housing Rehabilitation Guidelines by resolution. The Housing Authority of Cochise County coordinates the program. Approval of the resolution will adopt the Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Guidelines for the Emergency Home Repair Program
No impact on the General Fund. Grant funding will fully cover the costs for Emergency Home Repair Program.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Submit resolution and rehab guidelines to the Arizona Department of Housing to fulfill special conditions for the grant funding.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Arizona Department of Housing will not issue the grant funding for the program.
