Approve a letter of support from the Supervisors to the Forest Service regarding the Rustler Park Campground Fire Salvage Project.
Background:
The Forest Service is about to begin a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review of the proposed Rustler Park Campground Fire Salvage Project by defining the scope of the impacts analysis. During scoping, the public is asked to help identify issues and concerns related to the proposed action. Public input is vital because it is integrated into the environmental impacts and analyses and often used in the development of mitigation and alternatives to the proposed action. Comments should be received within 30 days of receiving the Scoping Notice.
