Approve contract with Tecta America Arizona, LLC for roofing services, under State Contract ADSPO17-174463, at the Bisbee County Jail in the amount of $260,655.45 effective April 7, 2020.
Background:
The Facilities Management Department would like to move forward with roofing services at the Bisbee County Jail due to the repairs needed. As this projects needs to be completed in a time sensitive timeline, Facilities would like to use a company that is under state contract. Tecta America Arizona, LLC is currently under state contract until June 29, 2020 and would qualify under procurement rules to be used for this project.
Facilities has used this company before for smaller roof projects and we found them to be competent and met the needs of the County.

Staff will coordinate the project with the vendor and the Sheriff’s Jail Commander.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The jail roof would not be repaired in a timely manner causing further damage.
