Approve contract with Progressive Roofing for roofing services, under Mohave County Cooperative Contract #18R-PRO-0418, at the Bisbee County Administrative Building located at 4 Ledge Avenue in Bisbee, Arizona, in the amount of $89,791.29, effective June 9, 2020.

Background:

The Facilities Management Department would like to move forward with roofing services at the Bisbee County Admin Building due to the repairs needed. As this projects needs to be completed in a time sensitive timeline, Facilities would like to use a company that is under cooperative agreement with Mohave County. Progressive Roofing is currently under a cooperative agreement with Mohave County until April 18, 2021, and would qualify under procurement rules to be used for this project.

The Facilities Department has researched this company and determined that it is reputable in the State of Arizona.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Staff will coordinate the project with the vendor.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The county admin roof would not be repaired in a timely manner causing further damage.
