Ratify the signature of the Executive Director on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Housing Authority of Cochise County and the City of Douglas Housing Authority to share the costs for staff training from Lindsey and Company.
Background:
Lindsey and Company are the fee accountants for the Housing Authority of Cochise County and the City of Douglas Housing Authority. In addition, both housing authorities use the software for all programs, including but not limited to Section 8, HOPWA, HUD-VASH, FSS, Weatherization, Emergency Home Repair, and Rehab.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If ratified, the department will proceed with the staff training in February 2011.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If it is not ratified, the department will be unable to provide the training for software used daily.
