Approve the appointment of Mr. Malcolm Everitt to the District 1 Board of Adjustment to complete the term of Grady Butler, effective immediately through December 31, 2021.
Background:
The Board of Adjustment consists of three members appointed by the County Supervisor for that District, each residing within the District. Members of the Board of Adjustment serve staggered four-year terms. Mr. Malcolm Everitt has agreed to serve on the District 1 Board of Adjustment (BA1) to complete the term of the vacated seat created when Grady Butler resigned from the BA1.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send an appointment letter and administer the Oath of Office to Mr. Everitt, as stated below in the BOS Staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Board of Adjustment, District 1 will have a vacancy on the three-member Board.
