Approve Amendment 3 to the Arizona Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Program Contract #ADHS 18-180472 between the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Cochise County Health & Social Services in the amount of $470,720, effective September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2021.
Background:
In 2017 Arizona declared an Opioid Epidemic, and over the course of the past 3 years, CDC funding has supported prevention-based strategies and linkages to care. This grant funding will continue to support expanded prevention-based strategies, enhance linkages to care, and support data collection, analysis and reporting for localized trends in opioid use disorders aligned with public health best practices.
