Approve Contract PSC 21-05-ITD-02 with Mr. Sean Trachtman for IT support services to include but not limited to Cybersecurity, Audio support, IT Technical Support, and IT training services in the amount of $65,000 per year, effective July 10, 2020, with four additional one-year option periods, for a total of $325,000 through June 30th, 2025.
Background:
Cochise County has had a contract with Mr. Sean Trachtman for the past 3 years and has received great service and technical knowledge that helped advance the Cybersecurity posture of the County IT systems. We are currently implementing new CyberSecurity procedures and tools which would increase the security of Cochise County IT infrastructure. The IT department is in need of increasing the support from Mr. Trachtman which will increase the annual contract amount from $40,000 to $65,000 per year.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Increase Purchase Order (PO) to match the cost of needed services.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
IT will have to reduce the hours of support from Mr. Trachtman during a time when we are implementing new CyberSecurity procedures and tools which would increase the risk to Cochise County IT infrastructure.
