Approve the designation of Ms. Judy Lynn, Director of Emergency Management, as the Applicant's Agent for the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs Public Assistance Grant; this supersedes the June 9, 2020 approval.

Background:

The FEMA/AZDEMA Public Assistance grant provides limited reimbursement on expenses incurred during declared emergencies.  To participate in the program, the County must designate an Applicant Agent to submit the grant reports. The grant provides a 75% reimbursement for applicable expenses.  The County has submitted several reimbursement requests for COVID expenses.  The County has previously completed this form with prior Director Gabe Lavine, and now must update it with the current Director, Judy Lynn.

Will submit form to AZDEMA.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

County will be ineligible for COVID expense reimbursements.
