Agenda Item Text:
Approve the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Overtime Reimbursement Agreement in the amount of $25,000 between the Cochise County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), effective October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.
Background:
This agreement is to reimburse overtime and travel expenses already spent on a specific law enforcement sensitive case.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved the department will continue with the case investigation and use the OCDETF funding to recoup some of the costs associated with the investigation.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved the department will continue with the case investigation but not recoup any of the costs associated with the investigation.
