Adopt Zoning Ordinance 21-13 to rezone parcel 404-02-431 from RU-2 (Rural, minimum lot size 4 acres) to RU-4 (Rural, minimum lot size 4 acres), pursuant to the application of Ms. Markie Kinney.
Background:
The applicant is requesting to amend the zoning of their parcel from R-2 to RU-4. The area is rural and largely vacant, with a few scattered single-family homes. Most properties in the area exceed 4 acres, and the RU-4 designation is appropriate with existing development patterns. A downzoning will not have any negative impacts on the surrounding properties.
