Approve the appointment of Ms. Teresa Murphy to the Board of Adjustment, representing District 2, effective April 5, 2022, through December 31, 2022.
Background:
The Board of Adjustment, District 2, consists of three members. Each member is nominated by the County Supervisor for that District, each residing within the District. Members of the Board of Adjustment serve staggered four-year terms. Ms. Teresa Murphy has agreed to serve on the Board of Adjustment to finish the term vacated by Anastacio (Andy) Salaiz.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send an appointment letter and administer the Oath of Office to Ms. Murphy, as stated below in the BOS staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Board of Adjustment, District 2, will have a vacancy on the three-member Board.
