Agenda Item Text:
Approve two Series #9 (Liquor Store) new liquor license applications submitted by Amy S. Nations, for Main Street Market #605, located at 2521 W. Business I-10, San Simon, AZ 85632.
Background:
Ms. Amy S. Nations has applied for a Series #9 (Liquor Store) liquor license for Main Street Market #605, located at 2521 W. Business I-10, San Simon, AZ 85632. The Sheriff’s Office has no recommendation. Treasurer's Office advised that the property taxes for the parcel in question are current. The Development Services Department has recommended approval of the application. The Environmental Health Department has no concerns relating to the license application. There have been no formal protests to this liquor license.
Ms. Amy S. Nations has paid the $200.00 processing fee. Supporting documentation regarding this liquor license is attached.
Main Street Market was selected for 2 Cochise County Series 9 liquor licenses in the Department of Liquor lottery held last year. They will be placing both licenses at the same location, one on active status and one on inactive status. This will allow them time to find another location to place the 2nd license.
