Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Arizona Prevention Research Center Community Action Board and Cochise Health & Social Services to express commitment to address health issues in the U.S. - Mexico border region, Arizona and beyond, effective upon signing for a period of five years.
Background:
The Arizona Prevention Research Center (AzPRC) team and the AzPRC Community Action Board (CAB) members combine collaborative efforts to address the social and structural determinants of health in the U.S. Mexico Border region, Arizona and beyond. As a CAB member Cochise Health & Social Services (CHSS) and by signing this MOU, the CHSS expresses its commitment to upholding the 10 guiding principles, the operating principles, and following the orientation handbook used to onboard and maintain members.
This MOU is a voluntary agreement among each of the MOU Participants. By signing this MOU we are acknowledging that we are partners in the development of the AzPRC mission to champion for optimal health and wellbeing in our diverse communities of the US/Mexico border region; and serves to establish mutually agreeable diversity and inclusion efforts and protocols for research.
