Approve Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) funding agreement as provided by the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), in the amount of $132,152, and approve budget amendment of $7,069 to match the funding agreement amount, effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
Background:
The purpose of the allocation for the CASA program is to recruit and train community-based volunteers who represent and advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courts. This grant funds 2 FTEs.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Receive AOC funding and administer the program.

No funding for the CASA program.
