Approve correction of funding source (from ADOT to Half-Cent Sales Tax) and approve County match, in the amount $53,883, for the Joint Project Agreement previously approved by the Board on March 27, 2012.
Background:
On March 27, 2012 the Board of Supervisors approved a Joint Project Agreement with the Arizona Department of Transportation for an Airport Surface Treatment Project at the Cochise County Airport. The Board also approved the required 10% or $53,883 Airport Sponsor share toward the project based on estimated construction costs. The Airport Sponsor will be reimbursed for any contribution exceeding the final project costs after final accounting reconciliation of project costs by ADOT. Inadvertently the agenda item indicated a one-time fixed cost where it should have indicated county match required and fiscal impact on the agenda indicated the source of funding was ADOT, where it should have indicated half cent sales tax.
