Agenda Item Text:
Approve grant amendment for Arizona 911 Program Grant Agreement, ADOA-AZ911-24-01 with the Arizona Department of Administration to fund Public Safety Answering Points services for a total of $770,397.00 through June 30, 2024.
Background:
The Board of Supervisors approved the Arizona State grant agreement ADOA-AZ911-24-01 for $554,902 on September 12th, 2023. The state has approved a change in this grant to cover the updated costs for the 911 contracts.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Continue to pay the AT&T 911 phone bills.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Cochise County General Fund would need to cover the costs of the 911 telecommunication lines that are expected to be covered under this grant.
