Approve the Third Amendment to the Agreement for Employment of County Administrator Richard G. Karwaczka to increase the annual compensation by $10,000 for a total gross annual salary of $175,000 per year, effective as of the pay period immediately following the execution of the amendment.

Background:

The Original Agreement for Employment of Mr. Karwaczka as County Administrator was approved on October 13, 2020. Each year the contract has been amended to allow for a gross annual salary increase based on performance. The Second Amendment to the agreement was approved October 11, 2022  and states the salary at $165,000. Overall, the contract is set to expire on December 31, 2025.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

Mr. Karwaczka's contract would continue under the current terms without an increase in gross annual salary.
