Approve the Over-the-Counter sale of tax deed properties as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, plus related administrative fees.
Background:
At the November 14, 2023 Board Meeting, the Board approved the Tax Deed Land Auction. Following the Auction, 5 units, or parcels, of land remained for the Over-the-Counter (OTC) sale. The OTC sale is being held from January 8, 2024 through March 29, 2024.
A bid was received for the two remaining parcels. Exhibit A shows the bid for the parcels. Bidders also provided a check in the amount of $25 for administrative fees for each unit bid.

Deposit checks and provide Sold Parcels list to County Treasurer; when funds clear, issue & record deeds.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Properties will not be sold and will not be put back on the County's tax roll.
