Approve the Merit Commission member reappointment of Mr. Stephen Pauken, effective May 7, 2024 through May 7, 2028.
Background:
A.R.S.§ 11-353 A. states in part "the board of supervisors shall appoint a county employee merit system commission to assist in administering the system. The commission shall consist of five members, and B. Members of the commission shall be selected from among the qualified electors of the county. No more than three of the members shall be from the same political party." Mr. Pauken is now a registered Democrat, making him one of three on the Merit Commission.

Arrange for Mr. Pauken to retake the oath of office.
