Approve the Merit Commission member reappointment of Ms. Mary Gomez, effective May 21, 2024, through May 21, 2028.
Background:
A.R.S.§ 11-353 A. states in part "the board of supervisors shall appoint a county employee merit system commission to assist in administering the system. The commission shall consist of five members and B. "Members of the commission shall be selected from among the qualified electors of the county. No more than three of the members shall be from the same political party." Ms.Gomez's reappointment fills a Democrat position on the board and brings the number of the Democrat party on the commission to three.

Arrange for Ms. Gomez to retake the oath of office.
