Approve Uniform Video Service License Agreement for Level 3 Communications, LLC, effective July 23, 2024, through July 23, 2034.
Background:
Arizona SB 2229, passed into law in 2018, declared Video Service Providers a matter of statewide concern. The law mandated local authorities to adopt an Ordinance and uniform licensing form for Video Service Providers. On March 10, 2020, the Cochise County Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 050-20 establishing that Ordinance.
Level 3 Communications, LLC is a Video Service Provider and has made an application for a Uniform Video Services License Agreement.

Send Level 3 Communications, LLC a copy of the recorded agreement.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The County will be out of compliance with state law, which requires licensing to be uniform statewide.
To BOS Staff: Document Disposition/Follow-Up:
Have the Board Chair sign one original of the Uniform Video Services License Agreement and give to the Clerk of the Board and record the document with the County Recorder. Send a copy of the recorded document to Paul Correa in the County Attorney’s Office.
