Approve Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Adult Probation Funding Agreement, as provided by the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), in the amount of $2,213,799 effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
Background:
The purpose of the allocation for Adult Probation is to support the adult courts and probation department, to achieve or maintain the average adult probation case supervision requirement, to ensure the department addresses criminogenic needs, and work toward recidivism reduction.
$2,213,799 is disbursed to Cochise County
This agreement provides for the following:
State Aid Enhancement (SAE) $766,012, JCEF $137,004, and ARPA (SLFRF) $235, 774
Adult Intensive Probation Supervision (IPS) $724,752, JCEF $22,516, and ARPA (SLFRF) $293,619,
Community Punishment Program (CPP) $4,071,
CJEF - Substance Abuse $30,051.
New Funding:
State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) are provided by the Governor's Office to supplement probation salary increases.
