Approve a Proclamation designating October 18, 2024 as National Veterans Assistance Day.
Background:
To support our veterans, providing essential services, resources and camaraderie to those who have served. The Stand Down will feature a range of services, including health screenings, housing assistance, legal aid, employment resources, and more. All these services are aimed at helping our veterans maintain their stability and self-sufficiency.
