Approve the trade-in of the current QuantiFit Respirator Fit Tester equipment to OHD, LLLP for $1,500, to be applied toward the purchase of a new QuantiFit Respirator Fit Tester equipment.
Background:
In 2014, Cochise County received an award from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security, State Homeland Security Grant Program (140400-02) for a respirator fit tester, which has been in use by local Fire Districts for the last ten years.
In 2024, Cochise County received an award from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security, State Homeland Security Grant Program (240400-01) to replace the current, aging, respirator fit tester. The quote for the new equipment is contingent upon the trade in of the old unit. The original purchase cost was $8,995 and trade in is valued at $1,500.
