Accept issuance of forty pails of firefighting foam for HAZMAT response from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Emergency Response Fund (ERF). 

Background:

The ADEQ Emergency Response Fund was established to provide HAZMAT supplies, and equipment to first responders and emergency management offices across the State. 
 
For FY25, Cochise Emergency Management, in partnership with the Cochise County Fire Association requested and was awarded forty pails of firefighting foam (Firebull Foam, Flourine free, A/B).  Estimated value of these supplies is $6,800 (qty 40, $170 each).  The foam will be kept in fire departments/districts along the I-10 and railroad cooridor. 

ADEQ purchases equipment and supplies, then issues them to receiving departments/offices via the State surplus program.

Department will accept supplies issued from ADEQ.
