Adopt Zoning Ordinance 25-04 to rezone tax parcel 209-09-240A (District 3) from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) pursuant to the application of Ronald and Jessica Engelkes.
Background:
The County received a request from Ronald and Jessica Engelkes (applicants) to rezone tax parcel 209-09-240A from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres). The property totals about 5 acres and is located at 8243 W. Winchester Easement west of Willcox (Supervisor District 3).
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the county zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcel will remain R-36 and future development will conform to applicable use, site development, and building code requirements of the R-36 zoning district.
