Approve the Families First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) Title IV-E Service Agreement between the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), and Cochise County Probation Department, effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
Background:
This Agreement defines the duties of the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) and the Probation Department while administering the Title IV-E program. The Board of Supervisors has ministerial authority to approve all funding agreements entered into by the judicial branch as provided in ARS 11-251. The approval by the Board of Supervisors authorizes the County Treasurer to collect and the Finance Department to disburse funds in accordance with each funding agreement, which was approved at the 10/15/2024 Board Meeting.
