Approve Fiscal Year 2025 Juvenile Crime Reduction Fund (JCRF) Funding Agreement as provided by the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), in the amount of $8,141, effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
Background:
The purpose of these funds for Juvenile Probation is to develop and successfully implement community-based programs to reduce juvenile crime. Juvenile Probation is implementing The Restitution Assistance Initiative (RAI) for youth to earn money to pay restitution owed.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Administer RAI program utilizing the JCRF AOC funding.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
No implementation of the RAI program.
